 The referendum base bid includes standard auditorium seating within the house. These seats would feature baseline fabrics and plain end panels. The proposed upgrades would change out both the fabric and the end panel. The fabric would be upgraded from Grade 1 to Grade 3 material. Although Grade 1 provides excellent durability and quality, the upgrade will offer improved durability, appearance and overall performance. This wider selection of fabrics would allow for a more premium design and feel to the seat. The end panels would be upgraded to feature a custom Barrington High School logo, enhancing the appearance and branding of the space. Elevated auditorium seating enhances comfort, accessibility, and the overall experience for students, families, and community members attending performances and events. Modern, ergonomic seats make it easier for audiences to enjoy concerts, musicals, and assemblies, while improved layouts can maximize sightlines and accommodate more attendees. By creating a welcoming and comfortable environment, upgraded seating helps make every performance memorable and positions the auditorium as a true hub for arts, culture, and community gatherings.
