 Adding benches, planters, and other outdoor furniture to the courtyard near the Community Auditorium will transform the space into a welcoming, vibrant gathering place for students, families, and community members. This inviting environment encourages social connection, supports outdoor learning and performances, and enhances the beauty and usability of the school grounds. By creating a comfortable, attractive space, the courtyard becomes a true extension of the auditorium, enriching every school event and community gathering. The project base bid includes several cast-in-place concrete planter benches in the entry plaza. The proposed upgrade would include adding additional cantilevered teak benches within the plaza. This would provide a variety of outdoor seating options for patrons of the auditorium.
